Inclusive is commited to connect dance students all around Europe. The most important thing is to create a place where people can interact and learn with and from each other. Together with Fontys we created a design for this community. I was responsible for the interaction design and the visual design of this community.
CONNECTING DANCERS AROUND EUROPE
The goal of Inclusive is to connect dancers all around Europe. There are currently four different dance academies working together to create this community. These academies are all planning to use Inclusive as their main digital platform for sharing content, profiles, events and calendars.
LEEDS - ANTWERP - TILBURG - PRAGUE
SHARE AND WORK TOGETHER
Dancers and teachers can share any type of content. From a video about their new choreography or a new song they really like to an academic research paper. Users can share, comment and rate this content.
COMPARE YOUR CHOREOGRAPHY
One of the most important things of the community is that students are able to learn from each other. Dance is all about movement and everything should be perfect. That is why we decided to add a compare function. This way users can compare a choreography performed by two different people using side-by-side video playback. Users can even compare a video to new music, to see if a dance would work with another song. Dancers can also compare their performance to a previous performance to see their personal development.
STUDENT PROFILES
Every user in the community has a personal profile which could be used as a dance resume. On this profile people can see the dancers latest activity, calendar, dance team and previous experience.
LEARN ABOUT SCHOOLS ALL AROUND EUROPE
All the dance academies who are currently involved in this community will have their own "about" page. This page will give you some basic information about this academy, like the amount of students or the location. Dance academies can also add alumni, previous performances and their experts.
